How has your life changed because of what happened on September 11, 2001?
I was five years old on September 11, 2001 and am probably in the last generation of Americans to remember anything at all about that day. I was in first grade, and we were reading a Time for Kids magazine when my best friend and I were called down to the office over the PA system. Our daycare provider, a grandma figure to both of us, was going around the community picking up all of her children and bringing us back safe to her home daycare. I vaguely remember her sitting upstairs in the kitchen watching the news on a tiny little TV and crying. We snuck upstairs to try to see what was going on, but were told to stay downstairs in the playroom.
